The objectives of the Trust are ...
(a) to protect, preserve, conserve, and restore the
natural habitat, watersheds, and wildlife on public lands
in the area bounded by Highways 103 and 333 on the
Chebucto Peninsula by planning, co-coordinating, and
participating in scientific, recreational, and
governmental projects, and
(b) to educate and increase the
public's understanding of the environment and its
importance by developing and offering interpretation
sessions, conferences, meetings, and publications to
inform the general public about public lands on the
Chebucto Peninsula.
By-laws
The Members shall be the governing body
of the Five Bridges Wilderness Heritage Trust. To enable the
Trust to operate effectively, the Members delegate to the
Trustees authority to manage the affairs of the Trust
consistent with the established principles and policies of
the Trust. The Members reaffirm this delegated authority
each year at the Annual General Meeting through their
election or re-election of Trustees.
