Major Announcement
It is
with great pleasure that we share with you news from the
Protection Branch of Nova Scotia Department of Environment.
Next week the provincial government will publicly announce the
protection of the Five Bridges Lakes Wilderness Area under the
Wilderness Areas Protection Act. The Trust has been working
with many dedicated environmental and community groups for
over ten years to protect over 20,000 acres of Crown Land, and
the day for celebration has finally come!
Many thanks and congratulations are extended to all of
you who made this possible. We look forward to seeing you on
Tuesday!
Sincerely,
Jill Pulsifer and
